Allergies
Down allergy sufferers can get synthetic duvets and pillows on request. Not all of our rooms are equipped with parquet flooring. A gluten-free or lactose-free breakfast can be provided for food allergy sufferers – but only by reservation.

Arrival and departure
Your room is available from 14:00. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception. We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. For late departures, an additional cleaning fee will be charged from Fr. 20.-.

Excursions / brochures / excursion maps / village map / hiking tours
Scuol in the heart of the Lower Engadine offers a wide variety of opportunities for excursions and sporting activities of all kinds. At the reception you will receive extensive brochures, excursion maps and a map of the village. We are also personally happy to help with planning or with many excursion tips.
Cots
We are happy to provide baby cots if required, for which we charge CHF 10 per night. If you bring your own baby cots or if the children up to 2 years of age stay in their parents' bed, toddlers stay with us free of charge.

Bike room
The room key also opens the bike room in front of the restaurant entrance. In our large, lower parking lot there is a water connection for cleaning the bikes. Please understand that no bikes are allowed in the hotel. The light switches on and off automatically, the hotel assumes no liability for damage or loss.

Fire protection / emergency exits
In each room, an escape route map hangs on the room door. Our house is equipped with a modern fire alarm system and each room has a smoke detector. If there is a fire, a loud alarm will sound and we ask you to leave your room as soon as possible. All emergency exits are marked with green and white, actively or passively illuminated signs. Please note the escape route map posted on the room door. Please keep calm and follow the instructions of the staff and the fire brigade.
It is strictly forbidden to use appliances in the room that may pose a fire hazard, e.g. irons, immersion heaters, heating plates, electric blankets, etc.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hotel. In the event of violations, we charge up to CHF 200 for professional cleaning, so that the rooms can also be used again by non-smokers.

Television set
In each room there is a TV with cable connection to national and international TV channels. On the TVs, the on/off switch is located on the right. All operations can be carried out with the remote control. Only 23 TV channels and 16 radio stations are received, as only these are fed into our hotel reception system. If you ever have problems with the operation, we will be happy to help you immediately.

Breakfast
Breakfast is always included in the room rate and is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the dining room. Deviating times, e.g. in case of early departure, are gladly arranged (possibility of a smaller breakfast buffet for early risers in the lounge on the first floor, registration until 17:00 the evening before) or possibility of a small packed lunch for breakfast on the way (registration until 17:00 the evening before)).

Luggage service
On request, we will be happy to bring your luggage to your room and pick it up there again on departure.
Drinks in the room
Free mineral water is available in the room. Additional mineral water can be obtained for a fee in the restaurant or at the reception. With the empty bottle, you can also get the most wonderful free mineral water directly from the source on the village square (50 meters downhill). In addition, we will be happy to serve you refreshing drinks from our range at the reception or in the restaurant.
Towels / washcloths / bathrobe
If you need more hand/bath towels or washcloths, please contact the reception. There you also have the option of renting a bathrobe for a deposit of CHF 20.00. You can easily remove the bath towel from the bathroom and exchange it for a fresh one at the reception after your visit to the thermal bath.
Terrace
On the first floor in front of room 3 is the access to our hotel terrace. Here you will find seating with table, sun loungers and umbrellas.
Dogs / Cats
We only accept dogs if confirmed by us in writing and under the following conditions: the dog must be a maximum of medium size (maximum 1 meter head height) and must be well-groomed and accustomed to other people/hotel conditions.
Please be sure to bring a place to sleep as well as food etc. For extraordinary cleaning we have to charge CHF 15 per night. We ask you to be considerate of other guests by keeping your four-legged friend on a leash throughout the hotel, restaurant and on the entire property.

Cats: We accept housebroken cats, she can also be left alone in the hotel room, but you are responsible for her and they must not cause any damage. Please be sure to bring a place to sleep as well as food etc. For extraordinary cleaning we have to charge CHF 15 per night.

Forgot your toothbrush? No problem! At the reception you can buy dental care as well as shaving kits. The contribution to expenses is CHF 5.-- per set.

A button has fallen off? A sewing kit is available for you at the reception for a deposit (CHF 20.- or EUR 20.-).

Parking lot
There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the hotel (reservation is not necessary). Use is at your own risk, no liability can be assumed for damages. If there are no more places available, please report to the reception. After your departure or between two stays in our house, there is the possibility to leave the car or motorbike with us; please ask the reception.

Personal mail can be picked up and dropped off at the reception.
Smoker
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hotel. In the event of violations, we charge up to CHF 200 for professional cleaning, so that the rooms can also be used again by non-smokers. In rooms with balconies there are ashtrays on the balconies, smoking is of course allowed here, as well as on the hotel terrace (on the first floor in front of room 3) or in summer in our garden restaurant.

Sports bus / local bus
The free sports bus Scuol Sot ("Unterscuol") takes you from the "Plaz" stop in 7 minutes through the entire village to the ski area or to the train station. The bus stop is 50m from the house on the large village square near the church. In summer, the local bus is free of charge with the Guest Card Plus.
Cancellation policy
It's a pity that one room remains vacant, although others would have liked to come. In the event of cancellations, we take the liberty of charging the following costs: Cancellations made up to 14 days before date of arrival are free of charge. For later cancellations or early departures, we charge a minimum of 1 night, depending on the re-letting. If we can re-rent your room, the accommodation costs including breakfast and visitor's tax are of course waived.
No-shows will be charged the total amount. In order to avoid this unpleasant situation for both sides, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Our house terrace for everyone is located on the first floor in front of room 3. Here you will find tables, chairs, umbrellas, deck chairs and ashtrays.

Alarm Clock / Wake-Up Call
You can get an alarm clock at the reception for a deposit of CHF 20 or EUR 20.
Alternatively, inform the reception of your wake-up appointment, which we will carry out reliably (07:00 to 23:00).

Daily newspapers and magazines can be found at the reception.
Room key
Please take the room key with you in case you leave the house in the evening. The key also opens the front door of the hotel, which is closed from the evening. Please hand in your room key upon departure.
